An expert I really admire is Friedrich August Fröbel      he was born 21 April 1782 – 21 June 1852, he was a German  pedagogue , a student of  Pestalozzi  who laid the foundation for modern  education  based on the recognition that children have unique needs and capabilities. Friecrich is famous for   devised circles, spheres, and other toy that were designed to stimulate  learning  through play activities accompanied by songs and music. Modern educational techniques in kindergarten and preschool are much indebted to him. He like me because for Fröbel  The teacher’s role was not to drill or indoctrinate the children but rather to encourage their self-expression through play, both individually and in group activities. I don´t consider myself an animal lover, but I like dogs,  when I was a child I have a big dog, her name  was Jacinta, she had 15 years old when dead, I was very sad, she was my pet since my birth in 1998. All my family love her, she was very beautiful and had a brown and black far. I think it is wrong to keep wild animals in a zoo, because the animals has the right to be free, they should leave in your native place with a big space and don´t leave in a small place where they can´t have a lot of physical activity. I haven´t ever been bitten by a dog of other animal, but to my friend a dog bitten his and after was a clinic because couldn´t has an infection. If I could be an animal, I would be a lion because  L ions are muscular, deep-chested felids with short, rounded heads, reduced necks and round ears. 

Nothing compares to watching a good film. I like drama and romantic movies.  The last film that I saw was Titanic, is my favourite movie.  Titanic is about a British  passenger liner  (Titanic) that  sank in the North Atlantic Ocean  in the early morning hours of 15 April 1912, after it collided with an  iceberg  during its  maiden voyage  from  Southampton  to  New York City . There were an  estimated 2,224 passengers and crew  aboard the ship, and more than 1,500 died, making it one of the deadliest commercial peacetime maritime disasters in modern history. Taking photographs is one of my favourites things, I love the pictures of landscape in high quality. I had a small camera when I was a child, I started to take photos of my family and my friends. My favourite picture is a landscape of a beautiful village, the name of village is Cucao located in Chiloé, "Región de los Lagos". This place is "muelle de las almas" (dock of souls), one of my favourites places. I took this photo when I was in Cucao with my two brothers, Matías and Alfredo in the last summer (2016) for the Valentine´s day.  I walked one hour in arrive to the dock. I like this place because is wonderful, it had a lot of trees and vegetables and a light blue sea. The people can walk in this place,  and  sleep in tents for some days. "Muelle de las almas" (  Dock of Souls - Kuy Kuy Tempilkawe) is an art installation paying homage to the Chilote beliefs, traditions, myths and legends.

My favourite piece of technology is the computer,  is an electronic machine. I got my first computer around eleven years ago because my dad gift me this, I was very happy but I couldn´t use the computer, this was very difficult to me and it had a lot of things strange with me.   I usually use my computer to watch comedy and romantic movies, to find books for my subjects, download music, to send e-mails, to talk with my friends, etcetera. I  used my computer every day, because I read my texts for the university and watch my series.  I like this electronic machine because I can find everything that I want and download a lot of music. I guess my life without my computer would be boring and fewer simple for me because I 'll have to print directly my texts for the university.                              

 When I was a child  I wanted to be architect, a chef and Early childhood education. Today the last option is my career, I study  this profession in the university of Chile. But the options that I had at  the moment of applying to university was: Art and Early childhood education and I decided the second option because  I want to help the childrens, mainly in the development of their.  My experience at university until now has been fine, I'm happy with this career, I like my subjects and my favourite subjects are social constructions and basis of the development. The kind of job that I would like to have is work of children in the classroom or in an office to administrating the kindergarden.

My name is Catalina Beatriz López Portuguez was born in 1998 in Castro, Chiloé, Chile, and grew up in Castro. I went to Charles Darwin School and I finished my high school studies to  Galvarino Riveros Cárdenas School. Today now I study Early childhood education in the faculty of social sciences. I'm the youngier person in my family, I have two brothers and two sisters. I live in Santiago in a small aparment with my mother Margarita and my brother Alfredo. I like draw in my free time and go to the disco with my friends on weekends. When I have fifty years old I want travel to different countries, for example, Brasil, France, Italy.  My favourite place in all the world is Hawaii.   Vv
